Family Business Of The Year

Ok, technically this happened at the end of February (24th to be exact) but we had to squeeze it in!

We recently attended this year’s Yorkshire FSB awards and were absolutely blown away to have won Family Business of the year! There were some incredible nominees so a massive well done to everyone who attended. Winning the award is a real honour and true testament to our wonderful family and the business we have created – We’re very grateful.

Luck of the Irish

What two better things to celebrate than our Irish heritage and beer? Despite the clear lack of Irish accents (we’re reet Yorkshire as y’know) much of the HBCo family has Irish roots, including our co-owner Joe who’s parents live on the west coast of Ireland just down from Galway.

So to celebrate this year’s St. Patrick’s Day we’re offering special beer called Padraig’s Gold – A cheeky session Golden ale that you can sup on across the month!

Back at Beer X

Last year we were honoured to take home the National SIBA Gold Award in our category for our Harrogate Best Bitter – This year we’re in the bottle and can Imperial and strong ale (6.5% and over) category with our 11% Kursaal Imperial Stout.

The event takes place 15th and 16th March at the Exhibition Centre in Liverpool. It’s a great excuse to chat with other brewers and catch up with suppliers – oh and of course have a few beers!
