AWARD WINNING BEERS 2022!

SIBA AWARDS 2022 – HARROGATE BEST BITTER (Simply the Best!)

In March of this year our Harrogate Best Bitter went on to win a gold award for the best cask premium bitter (4.5% to 6.4%) at the SIBA (Society of independent brewers) beer awards on a national level. This was a new brew for us and so we were overjoyed to have received such an honour. Our bitter is a full bodied amber ale boasting sweetness from dark crystal malts and a subtle spiciness from the malted rye – a must try!

The awards were held at the annual Beer X convention at the exhibition centre in Liverpool – those who won first place in their Regional category then moved into the National competition, with every beer nominated available on the bar within the convention centre. To say there was an incredible selection of beers for tasting would be an understatement!

YORK BEER FESTIVAL 2022 – PLUM PORTER (Overall Champion)

We were over the moon that out of hundreds of beers our 4.8% Plum Porter won ‘Overall Champion’ of the entire festival at York this year. There were so many excellent beers available and it was a real pleasure to attend the trade day to catch up with the other local breweries.

Gold – Harrogate Best (Premium Bitter)
Gold – Plum Porter (Specialist Flavoured)
Bronze – Beeching Axe (Premium pale, blonde and golden ales)
